Cancellation policy

ConnectBudapestGuides works with a group of Tour Guides and we try to offer as much flexibility to our travellers as possible. All our Tour Guides are professional guides with full commitment and busy schedules, and our main purpose is to protect them and their businesses from any potential losses due to cancelled reservations. 

Before cancelling the tour we suggest you to contact ConnectBudapestGuides via email (connectbudapestguides@gmail.com) to try to re-schedule the tour or to ask for a voucher.

The deposit is to be paid when you book a tour on ConnectBudapestGuides website. The amount of the deposit is EUR 40. All the bookings have to be reconfirmed via email within maximum 48 hours. Deposit is fully refunded if the booking is not re-confirmed.

All cancellation requests need to be sent to connectbudapestguides@gmail.com by the person who submitted the booking. Please explain in details the reasons why the cancellation is requested and send all details of verification in the case of cancelling as a consequence of force majeure (in that case the deposit will be fully refunded under this provision).

ConnectBudapestGuides imposes the following cancellation fees:

  • There is no cancellation fee when the booking is cancelled more than 30 days before the actual tour date. The deposit will be refunded.
  • The deposit is non-refundable when the booking is cancelled between 15 days to 29 days before the actual tour date.
  • The total amount of the tour price (100%) is due to the Tour Guide when the booking is cancelled within 14 days before the actual tour date, the same applies for no show.
